Paradores of Spain

The history of the Paradores of Spain stretches back to 1910 when the Spanish government first envisaged the idea of creating this network of unique hotels and the first Parador was opened in 1928. More than eighty years later Paradores have become an integral part of Spanish tourism and offer a network of over 90 hotels in some of the most spectacular surroundings, in both historical and modern buildings.
